My Lord,
I do myself the honour of enclosing a letter from the Agent General for the Crown Colonies, the purport of which would deprive me of the whole of my Pension for the last quarter, – the sum of £12.10 being already deducted quarterly. Passage from Hongkong to Marseilles
I could therefore most respectfully beg the Right Honorable E. B. Lytton to permit the amount of my Passage from Shanghai to Hong Kong being deducted from my Pension after I have paid for my Passage from Hong Kong to Marseilles.
Nothing Hill W. 6th April 1859.
Order and Memo of 31st March for £269. 20. 2928. RECEipt 3797 Hong Kong North, 7/APR 1859.
